Gantry Crane
There is a hoisting unit moving under a single girder or on two girders. It has steel construction legs suitable for the process it is used. These legs have end carriage systems with 4 or 8 wheels.
The system moves along the rails on steel or concrete runways, on the floor.
More than one hoisting units can be deployed on the girder.
Steel legs placed on both sides or they can be designed as an end carriage to be placed on the steel or concrete runway beam on top elevation on one side. In this case as gantry leg is on one side, this type of systems is called semi- gantry cranes.
